Help give Naptown United an equipment shed so neighborhood kids have a chance to play soccer.
About Me
Soccer
I have been playing soccer since I was about 3. Not only has soccer been a fun hobby, but it has also taught me many lessons like learning to be a leader and working with others. I also understand how important it is for everyone to play a sport they enjoy, regardless of cost.
My Project
For my project to help the Naptown United League, I will build a wooden foundation near their fields and put a shipping container on it. The shipping container can serve as a shed to help the league store soccer equipment so it's closer to them and easier to find. It can also serve as a snack bar so the league can generate some money to keep the fields nice and get jerseys for the players.
Why I Want To Help
I want to help the Naptown United League because I know how much soccer changes lives especially at a young age. To this day it's still a main part of who I am, and I've met several of my best friends through playing soccer. I think everyone should have the opportunity to play soccer because it changes you forever.
My Goal
My fundraising goal is to raise $5,500 for the shed and the base. I am currently 59% of the way there. I have raised $3,225 so far.
